Joe’s Story
“I began my journey in the healing arts over 25 years ago. Along the way It became apparent that many of us men were wounded, even broken, and had turned to drugs and alcohol as way of coping with our trauma; needless to say, it was a solution that eventually caused more harm. It was apparent that we are searching for community and love. It required a sensitive, loving approach, one that allows us to “be” and to discuss our feelings in a safe space, to be able to talk about it without the fear of being discarded. It required having an open mind with the hope that the heart would crack open.”
“There is a principle which is a bar against all information, which is proof against all arguments and which cannot fail to keep a man in everlasting ignorance - that principle is contempt prior to investigation” Herbert Spencer
